The course is out and back on Tchoupitoulas from Tipitina’s uptown. High school marching bands will play along the route and great New Orleans food and refreshments will be served at the post-race party and concert on the neutral ground in front of Tipitina’s.
Packet pickup will take place Thursday evening, Sept. 27, from 3-7 p.m. at Tipitina’s. Enjoy NOLA Brewing Co. beer on draft during this time.
Awards will be fashioned to resemble water meter covers like the musician awards on the Tipitina’s Walk of Fame. Medals will be presented to top 500 finishers. Costumes are encouraged and prizes for “Best Individual Musician Costume” and “Best Musical Group Ensemble” will be announced at the post-race party.
